COCO and WA DNR are excited to welcome you to the beautiful Suncadia Resort in Cle Elum, Washington, for the 2026 After the Flames Conference & Workshop: Collective Recovery from the Ground Up. Below, you’ll find important travel and accommodation details to help make your trip smooth and stress-free. Whether you’re flying in, driving, or arranging a shuttle, we’ve got you covered with helpful tips and booking information.

All reservations for this block must be made by the end of the day on March 12, 2026.
A limited number of per diem rooms are available for eligible attendees who are willing to share two-bedroom condos. Each attendee will get their own bedroom, plus shared living room, dining, and kitchen space. The condos are $220/condo which breaks down to $110/bedroom (GSA per diem rate for Washington)
These rooms are not available through the online reservation system and must be requested directly through the event coordinator (Maria Brandt at maria.brandt@co-co.org)
Both individuals must qualify for per diem. If you have a preferred roommate, each person must email to request the shared room. Once confirmed by both parties, further instruction will be provided for you to book. If you do not have a preferred roommate, but are open to being matched with another attendee in a condo, then please send me an email with your name and gender and a request to be added to the rooming list. If we end up with other attendees looking to share a per diem rate condo, then we will let you know.
Traveling to Washington by Air
If you’re flying into Washington, we recommend renting a car from Sea-Tac Airport for your trip to Suncadia—especially if you’re traveling with colleagues. This is typically the most cost-effective and convenient option.
If you prefer not to drive, there are also shuttle and airporter services available. Below are some commonly used providers, click and you will be directed to their webpage for more information:
Shuttle Drop-Off Information
If your shuttle service is unable to drop you off directly at the resort (such as Bellair), you can arrange a transfer from the Warrior Quick Stop to Suncadia Resort. The Warrior Quick Stop is located at 901 W 1st St, Cle Elum, WA.
To schedule this transfer, please contact the resort in advance at (509) 649-6400. The shuttle runs between 7:15 AM and 11:40 PM and must be pre-arranged. The cost is $20.00 per ride.
